The FHSNA is very excited to offer a U.S. based, fully independent alternative to the European Friesian registries.
The FHSNA will provide valid registration after proof of lineage to all Friesian horse owners that desire registration papers for their purebred Friesians. FHSNA accepts all KFPS/FHANA or FPZV registered horses with current registration papers or dna verification. One of our many goals is to offer valid, sanctioned inspection alternatives that will insure we maintain the high quality of our purebred Friesians, yet without the current extensive travel, expense and hardship we all face. The FHSNA is working to put in place the feasible and practical solutions facing the unique conditions present in the U.S. that we, as U.S. Friesian owners currently experience.
FHSNA is dedicated to the preservation, breeding, promotion, improvement and registration of the Purebred Friesian Horse with emphasis on the establishment of a North American Purebred Friesian DNA database and the education of the American public. The FHSNA will uphold the stringent Dutch & German registration and breeding standards in order to establish and maintain the Purebred Friesian Horse in North America independent from European registry influence and regulation.
The FHSNA is a welcome haven for ALL FPS & FPZV Purebred Friesian horses with valid proof of lineage. Please join us in advancing our North American Purebred Friesian horses here in North America! For more insight into those associated with and dedicated to the FHSNA, please view our “About FHSNA” page. We look forward to meeting and working with you!
